Most source engine games make use of RCON - a protocol that allows server administrators to remotely execute commands on the server. To set your RCON password on a Source Engine game server such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, you'll need to follow the steps below: Head to your File Manager from within NodePanel.

- Basic knowledge about the game (CS) and server commands.
Now open the console and type ‘vote’. The ID of the ‘Admin’ along with your ID will be displayed as shown:

Type “amx_showrcon rcon_password” in console. The RCON password of the server will be displayed.
You can either change the RCON or start playing pranks on people now.

- You can hack the RCON ‘ONLY’ if the ‘Admin’ is using “setinfo _pw” instead of his Steam id to connect to his server.
- The command “amx_showrcon” can only be used by the Admins with the “L” flag. So when you get the setinfo _pw of the ‘Admin’, join his server as him and type “amx_who” to check for the flags he has access to.
- After you get the setinfo of the Admin, join his server when there are no players on it, to avoid complaints from users. You can still get in with users playing though.
